  Nutritional concerns related to cancer will be the topic of the Friday, June 4, Lunch and Learn Workshop to be held at the Cancer Resource Center at noon.

  The center is located on the second floor of the medical office building adjacent to the Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head.

  Aimee Shea, UNC’s outpatient oncology dietitian who provides outpatient oncology counseling, will speak.

  Her nutrition counseling covers a wide range of topics, including healthy eating tips, nutrition before, during and after cancer treatment; management of treatment-related side effects; and prevention of unwanted weight loss or gain. These nutritional services are a component of the comprehensive cancer support program for patients and families.
