Try Fit Minutes

By Linda Putnam

Fit Minutes is a friendly competition and challenge with yourself and  other participants to accumulate time spent being physically active.

The purpose of this activity, sponsored by The Dare County Center, is to help motivate you to get and stay active by recognizing bi-weekly winners who accumulate the most aerobic activity. Pick up a brochure at the center for more information. See Blair if you have any questions.

The first Fit Minutes winner is Diana Hobbs who accumulated 635 minutes while biking, kayaking, using the elliptical machine and walking.

Every two weeks your Fit minutes bank is wiped clean, so feel free to join in at any time.
