GOP group to meet Tue.

Dare Republican Executive Committee will hold a dinner meeting at the Western Sizzlin’ restaurant in Kill Devil Hills located at 804 S. Croatan Hwy on U.S. 158. Reservations are not required. All registered Republicans and like-minded citizens dedicated to the ideals of the country’s founding fathers are welcome to attend.

This meeting is called to discuss preparations for the 2012 elections and participation in the first annual Hatteras Island Community Fair Nov. 19 to be held from 2-8 p.m. on the grounds of Cape Hatteras Secondary School in Buxton. The theme of the fair is “Celebrating the Spirit of Hatteras Island. There will be rides and 10 inflatables including Alien Laser Tag and a bounce house. Be ready to eat local fried fish, jambalaya, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, cotton candy, funnel cake, caramel apples and Otis Spumkmeyer cookies, Starabucks coffee and more.
